THE GANGA ANTHEM 

 

        AR Rahman to compose an  anthem on behalf of the mission to save the holy river Ganga. The lyrics of the song is penned by Sadhu-Sants at the Parmarth Niketan in Rishikesh. Kailash Kher will be singing the anthem and is expected to be released during the Maha Kumbh at Allahadbad in January next year. The main aim of the song is to make people aware of the importance of the River Ganga and to stop them from polluting it.
